While updating the Andhra Pradesh government on the status of the plan to develop a 'Smart City' in the state, the Essel Group's key executives met the chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and proposed to build a integrated resort city in AP.
According to media reports, the the Essel Group CEO Amit Goenka and few other key executives of the group had recently met Chandrababu Naidu and updated the progress of the company's work in supporting the state in developing smart cities.
The Essel Group company – and our lead partner – Essel Infra projects is currently working on developing Tirupati as a 'Smart City' under the Centre's ambitious '100 Smart Cities' Mission.
Reports further added, that Goenka apprised Naidu that Singapore's integrated resort cities have generated business worth $ 10 billion and created 22,000 direct and 40,000 indirect jobs.
Goenka also revealed his plans to build a waste-to-energy plant in Jamshedpur.
